‘Metamorphosis’ celebrates the fading of the chrysalis; the fading of the disguise and the reveal of your true colours.

Why are we so afraid to show our true selves? Why do we hide away our true colours and settle for the faded ones, just to be able to fit in with the rest? Why do we prefer to be a moth on a wall, hidden and camouflaged, instead of being a Blue Morpho butterfly, dancing in the wind? Why do make our chrysalis so thick, that we can’t even see our true colours anymore?
But one day the chrysalis will start to fade again and we will be less afraid to show our true selves, more and more. Like a Blue Morpho Butterfly escaping its camouflaged chrysalis. But it’s an ever-continuing process that comes in waves. Will we ever be able to show the truest version of ourselves?
